The next generation in rugged, tough-as-nails utility vehicles.

The AGS-30M is a vehicle-mounted grenade machine gun. Firing 30mm x29mm HE grenades, the weapon can blanket a target with a deadly spray of shrapnel. The weapon is fitted with a detachable 30-round magazine, and can fire at 400 rpm.
Grizlis have a layer of aluminum armor that protects them against small arms fire, up to the 7.62mm caliber. The underbody is v-shaped, able to channel away the brunt of a mine exploding underneath.
Bolt on some RHA armor, allowing the Grizli to survive 12.7mm AP-I fire.
One problem with no armor penetration if the armor is made out of metal is spalling, also known as the“Beyond Armor Effect.” Essentially, the inside of the armor flakes off and runs everyone inside the vehicle through the blender. To remedy this, and to minimize casualties should the vehicle get hit by a shape charge, SVM spall liner can be applied to the inside of the armor.
The GAZ Grizli is powered by a rugged YaMZ copy (legal tech-transfer, thank you) of the BMW X5's 4.5 liter (twin-turbochargers removed) diesel V8, giving it 320 horsepower. They directly power the vehicle's four wheels, allowing the 2-ton truck to hit 100kmph on a road.
Originally taken out to reduce manufacture cost, units with the need for more power out of their engines (mostly in the Caucus region) can get the two turbochargers put back into their engines. Boosts power to 450hp, significantly increasing acceleration and speed.
