The Leopard 2 main battle tank most commonly used by regular European Federation Army is the 2A5. It first entered service in 1975 and has seen numerous upgrades since that time. Powered by a 1,500 hp 12-cylinder diesel engine, its standard armament consists of a 120mm smoothbore gun and two 7.62mm machineguns. In game, it is deployed through Force Recon.

The European Federation Army deploys Leopard 2 main battle tanks amongst its regular forces, to support the E.F.E.C.'s advanced Panther 1A3 tanks.

Leopard tanks are deployed when the player has purchased Force Recon 2 and 3. They spawn off map, and will travel to the designated point on the map. They will remain at that point until destroyed by the enemy. Being Tanks, they share the same weaknesses at the Panthers.
