Henry Liu deployed to the southern theater of operations with the 23rd Mechanized Battalion during the second invasion of Europe, conducting special operations in Italy and parts of western Greece. Cut off by Russian forces outside Athens, Carver's Alpha Company was forced to make a grueling march through more than a thousand miles of enemy-held territory to US lines near Genoa. His unit, now known as the myrmidons, is expert at guerrilla warfare and infiltration tactics.
