M118 Fastback
During the 2010's, vthe US Army began to search for a replacement for the M2/M3 Bradly and found it in the M118 Fastback.
Endwar 2 Technology
Human technology in 2052 has advanced exponentially. Nanomaterial engineering has become incredibly easy, infact most average cloths are made from nanofibers which lend unique properties such as being waterproof. Gasoline and older style nuclear energy are nearly phased out completely, replaced by hydrogen, synthetic biofuels, and 6th Gen nuclear/laser fusion. Engines are highly fuel efficient, and airlines have achieve hypersonic capability. The average car gets 60 miles to the gallon. Quantum Entanglement has led to exaflop processing power (quintillion calculations/sec), and even greater storage capacity. Elemental Phase Deconstruction to breakdown and recycle refined materials is extrememly useful in a world strained by resources, and…

Shadows are the UNAC's front line infantry unit, they are recruited from all over the world. These troops undergo harsh training in all environments to prepare for any operation. Shadows are the only riflemen unit to specialize heavily in Force Recon and Surveillance, and as such the range at which Shadows can me detected is lower than other riflemen units. Equipped with some of the most advanced technology around, they are heavily digitalized, carrying an on board CPU processor, and they boast a nice range advantage over other units. They perform well in both urban and open environments (provided there is cover). They are also are equipped with an advanced exoskeletal load bearing…
Type-115
While the Type-99 tank was great for the early 2010s, the Chinese soon saw need to begin construction of new tanks, and they decided to modify the Soviet model of having large divisions of cheap tanks (Type-99s and the Type-105), while fielding larger, more expensive tanks in elite armored divisions.

Riflemen Overview
Riflemen are your standard assault rifle wielding infantry, and their best friends are IFV's. They're slow moving - like any infantry unit, but they are essential to a good battle strategy, riflemen secure uplinks the second fastest among all infantry units, (after Airborne units) and take the third longest time to upgrade (after Engineers and Combat Support). Riflemen are a good, balanced choice of infantry unit, they can take out engineers/support and secure uplinks with ease and aren't too bad on the front at all.
Prey: Engineers/Support, Uplinks, with the right upgrades, may deal surprising damage to IFV's
Predators: Tanks, Artillery, Gunships, being out of cover in any way.

The Basics of Editing in Source Mode
Due to influx of new editors and the steadily insufficient level of skill of old ones I have taken it upon myself to explain how I make all these “spiffy” posts. With the data introduced here you will be able to make decent-looking contributions to Wikia pages.
In my experience, the most effective way of editing anything beyond simple text is in Source mode as it grants direct access to the coding of the text. Visual mode does not display all of the coding and may conceal notable errors. Also, some of the functions have a long loading time.
Another notable advantage is that the entire page can be pre-coded in a normal text editor (like I’m doing now in MS Word) and copy-pasted directly into source mode. It will function. But when pasting int…

M512 Hercules
M512 Heracles
Named after a very unlucky, yet very famous (and incredibly strong) demigod in Greek Mythology, the M512 takes care of every single combat engineering role in the NAU. Yes, every single role—the loadout is modular, allowing the vehicle to be equipped with the right tools for the right job. Best of all, it only requires 15 minutes for a team of experienced engineers (with tethered XOS exoskeletons) to swap modules.
When spearheading an assault, it clears the way; when backing the frontline, it repairs nearby vehicles.
Best of all, it's a “Robotics Technology Demonstrator”.

The Titan Armored Combat Vehicle was designed with a high degree of versatility in mind. The UNAC military wanted and IFV able to perform a large amount of battlefield duties effectively. The Titan, though its called the most versatile IFV ever created, leans towards firepower and lightweight but tough armor systems. Born of the UNAC "Future Force Warfare Program" and using lessons learned from past conflicts it's built like an MRAP/Bradly/track Styker mixture, with a V-shaped hull for standardized mine resistance.

Developed from the BMP-3, the BMP-4 is the next installment of russian infantry fighting vehicles. It is heavily armored for an IFV and its offensive capabilities are very strong also. Though it look similar to the old BMP-3 on the outside its internal design as been changed greatly. It has an extremely aggressively angled front hull and engine is placed right in the forward hull additionally. Nick-named "Goliath" for its heavy firepower and armor, it's able to harrass tanks with the right upgrades. The Golaith is front heavy, meaning commanders should try to…
M505 Spartan
M505 Spartan
With the rise of Russia and Asia, the NAU resolved to keep the Main Battle Tank alive for one reason and one reason only: a tank is almost always the best way to take out another tank.
Of course, to fight other tanks, it would have to to tough. Thankfully, the Euros (specifically, Germans) have plenty of options to allow Spartans to soak up a punishment.
One thing to note is that the Spartan is considerably smaller than previous-generation designs. It is built to be much lighter, while retaining the same level of mobility and firepower. The decrease in weight allows the vehicle to be easily transported (63-ton Challenger 2 and Leopard 2s were nightmares to move around), and hog less fuel (the Abrams got a grand total of about 30 …

Combining the latest tank tech, into a highly capable mounted combat system was the prime goal of UNAC designers looking for a replacement for the 58 year old Abrams. It combines a majority of features mostly from the M1A5+ Abrams with elements from Canadian Leopard 2's, British Challengers, French Leclerc's and even Japanese Type 10's. The "Future Force Warfare Program" called for future MBT's to be much lighter (below 65 tons - the M1A2 SEP weighs in close to 72) and have a much smaller logistical footprint, a trait that plagued American M1's during the gulf war and WWIII. The Predator is easily one of the best, and most expensive MBT's fielded currently.

Unit Mechanics - IFV's
IFV's main job is to carry troops quickly around the battle space and deploy them rapidly to secure uplinks, but they are much more than "battle taxis", IFV's are able to kill rough up tanks if used properly and harrass gunships well, albeit it may be better to use a dedicated air defense unit for this. IFV's are the armored engineers, I wanted them to be more than just busses with some good AA. They'll function sorta like a jack of all trades unit, often able to be upgraded with extended abilities that benefit other units and the commander. They are extremely useful in many ways and should be present during every battle.
UNAC Titan: Very good IFV, very versatile can be average in every category, or the best in a select few, you decide what…

Dr. Thorn roared and began to change. He grew larged until he aws in his true form-his face still human, but his body was that of a huge lion. His leathery, spiky tail whipped deadly thorns in all directions.

-The Titan's Curse
To take out the formidable M150 Danilov quickly, the UEC proceeded to develop a third mecha, this time 12 meters tall and weighing in at 100 tons.
But for propaganda purposes, the new design also called for aesthetic design, which left it mostly humanoid and with just two slots for weaponry. That led to the development of super-powerful weaponry the might prove to be decisive on the battlefield.

The dirt trembled. A single, skeletal hand shot out of the ground, grasping at the air.
The General looked up' at the balcony. "Quickly, do you have the scent?"
"Yessss, lord," one of the snake ladies said. She took out a sash of silvery fabric, like the kind Hunters wore.
"Excellent," the General said. "Once my warriors catch its scent, they will pursue its owner relentessly. Nothing can stop them, no weapons known to half-blood or hunter. Toss it here!"
And as he said that, skeletons erupted from the ground. There were twelve of them, one for each tooth the General had planted. They were nothing like Halloween skeletons, or the kind you might see in cheesy movies. These were growing flesh as I watched, turning into men, but men with d…

Which means, the SSS are the ultimate special forces unit in the North Atlantic. Space High Intensity Energy Laser Defense
After the Great Nuclear Crisis, where nukes fired in anger threw a massive wrench into the world's economy, NATO said “never again”. In order to ensure that ballistic weaponry (normally, nukes) would never be a threat to humanity again, they militarized space, putting up massive lasers high up in the sky, the ultimate firing position. From there, they would pick off ICBMs and SLBMs before they could do damage.
After a few trial runs, it not only worked effectively in blow…
Things I noticed.
US Assault Squads are considered cheap knock-offs when compared to the riflemen, their job near-suicidal, dirty, messy, and requiring more luck and aggressiveness than skill. Just about the same view the Americans have on the factions who are ready to go head first into the mess, the Euros and the Russkies. “No plan survives contact with the enemy” – a saying initially formulated by the US Army, and then forgotten in favour of extreme finesse and the illusion of invincibility.
I put that there to point out the simple fact that America has a habit of being ahead of others when it comes to service weapons. From rifles to faster loading rifles to breach-loaded rifles, bolt action rifles then semi-auto rifles and lastly automatic ones. You’ll noti…

M32A2/B Sentinel
- 1 Brief Description:
- 2 Protection:
- 3 Countermeasures:
- 4 Armament:
The Sentinel is essentially a Predator with a tank cannon, this is to cut down on cost, as both vehicles will share exactly the same parts excluding the turret, it also helps simplfy logistics. It's extremely similar to the Stryker Mobile Gun System in practice. The Sentinel was designed to supplement the M2A3 Stratton in areas where the use of tanks would be unfeasible, an example would be a low intensity conflict zone. It's fully capable in full combat as well and carries a ferocious array of deadly anti-tank ammunition.
Classification: AFV - Mobile Gun System

The Predator, just like the Guardian are products to the FCS GCV program and as such have been heavily integrated with the lastest battlefield technology. The Predator is essentially the Guardians heavier and tougher big brother.
Classification: Armored Fighting Vehicle
The Predator has been designed to stand up to the most advanced AFV platform rounds currently in use, it's armor its in fact strong enough to defeat tandem shaped charges (with the help of NERA of course). The trade off here is weight, the Predator weighs almost 35 tons, (which is still considerable light compared to the original GCV program w…

Sappers
Engineers have it easy. They get to build and repair stuff behind the front line, wearing tethered XOS suits and sipping on coffee whenever they have break. Sappers do everything they do, minus the suits and the coffee.
Now, add a downpour, and bursts of enemy fire coming in. Pile on path-clearing (obstacle removal), EOD, combat patrols, casualty recovery, and you need tough, Swiss-army-knife soldiers.
